Comedy Archive

Terms of use

Comedy Archive is a personal archival tool operated by Van Robichaux. Use it only for files and accounts you own or are expressly authorized to archive. A Google sign-in grant does not establish permission to redistribute copyrighted or private material.

Scope of this release

The macOS app provides selected local-file capture, read-only Google Drive and Gmail capture, verification and previews of supported captured formats. Each source requires an explicit selection and copy action. Automatic Notes export, live synchronization, transcription and catalog search are not part of this interface. Manual exports need an accompanying record of their original source location. Source exclusions, unavailable files and failed copies must be reviewed in the archive’s coverage records.

Care of the archive

Review your source scope and selection before copying. Keep the encrypted drive connected until an operation finishes, retain its unlock credentials and the separate Google-vault passphrase, and verify an independent backup before relying on the capture as your only copy. Finalizing a session seals that selection; it does not certify that every intended source was captured.

Development status

The app is a development build for macOS 13.5 or later. Rehearse with the included synthetic files on the laptop you intend to use. Follow macOS security prompts and the included instructions. Google may require additional consent, app verification or Workspace administrator approval, and may change or revoke access under its own policies.

Privacy and support

The privacy policy explains storage, sharing, retention and revocation. This app is not a Google product. Contact van@van.media for support or questions about these terms.
